  • Pipsopolis - Swing Trading Guru

Pipsopolis has been one of our longest serving Team Traders.

He trades an effective medium term strategy focusing on hidden and regular divergence on the 4hr chart.

I did an interview with him little while ago, you can check it out on his page as well as find more detail around his specific strategy, to view it please click here.

I've invited Pipsopolis to offer a weekly comment on his trading and the markets, if you have any questions please feel free to post them here.

The past couple of months have been a little slow, however I respect is that he is maintaining the profits booked earlier in the year. If you want a stable and reliable trader that isn't going to put your account at risk then Pipsoplis is a great addition to any signal portfolio.

I have a $3k personal account following him. You can see my verified statement here. Pipsopolis - Nicks Account System | Myfxbook

I think I will look into Pipsopolis in coming weeks Nick.

Can you or Pipso enlighten me as to what has been your WORST floating DD as to date? I am completely fine with floating DD but I like to know what it would/could be at any one time or if there is constant floating DD. I am more used to the grids and the marti's such as PING where 90% of the time there is floating loss as opposed to Amp where your either up in balance or down in balance almost immediately. So wher would Pipso be in relation to those 2 signals and for that matter also Trade Alerter the new signal. Just to get a better understanding of the mechanics, that way I can do some of my own manual trading if I see a good opportunity too.

      Dear Boozy Bum,
My floating DD is less than 20% till now and I generally do not into large DD's. I tend to close losers and always trade with stop loss in place. I am opposed of martingale, too.

        Hi Pipso,

You equity curve seems to have stalled over last few months. Have the market conditions changed for your divergence style? Is there too much fundamental "noise" affecting your trading?

I am interested to know if you have experienced lulls like this before.

          Hi Boozybum,
I am working on it. But it does not seem to be any significant changes in the style. There were 2-3 trades which after careful study seems to be taken with less consideration to the rules. Other than that, it seems everything to be OK. I tend to do more back testing this week and the next to find any possible glitches to the system and start fresh. Mean time, I'd like to risk less. Sorry for the impact to the subscribers.

              Hey Pipsopolis

I was wondering what the plan is with the current open trade on GPBJPY?

There are no SL or TP levels in place.

As you could see the JPY was smashed and due to limit the clients' accounts, we were BE. Darn it!

                  Hey guys,

Pipsopolis has just done a video explaining how he managed to identify a 344 pip winner last week getting in right at the top of the move and closing near the bottom.

Pipsopolis, congratulations on the awesome trading recently.

Now I remember why I was so excited to work with you back at the start of 2013

Keep up the great work and hopefully the recent momentum you've built continues well into the new year.

My account is now + 40% and I've banked $1,200 on me $3k account.
