    Thanks Nick,

This is my first MT4 signal account so we just in process of getting a history for traders to follow. Trading a signal that others will be following adds another level of responsibility and increases the importance of solid risk management. My background is a FX dealer and analyst writing a daily report for over 5 years. I have extensive contacts in banks and hedgefunds and financial news reporters. I like to give reasons for my trades similar to this example

    https://www.tradingview.com/v/40ZaxbfJ/

I am a manual trader and will be trying to follow the Rules for my Signal account for the majority of my trades to increase the risk reward of my followers

    1) Trading with Trend

    2) Trading off good entry levels

    3) Trading with at least one fresh bank recommendation of the same trade Idea

    4) Fixed Stop losses limiting the Drawdown to 10% at any one time if market reverses

    Best Regards

Hi TA, welcome to the team! I wish you good luck with your trading. It's good decision about the "stepping up to the plate with Ping's followers". Thank you for that. Nice of you.
        Couple questions:
        1. It seems to me that in your myfxbook account there are two rather different segments. Apr 11. - 25. with huge moves either up or down with great overall gain, and Apr 25. till now with much smoother and smaller moves and gain. It looks like two different versions of your MM or strategy. Why is that?
        2. Why you deleted your previous acc.? TradeAlerter System | Myfxbook
        Thank you

Hi Nick, I noticed you said in the room couple days ago something like that TA is great trader but has emotional issues. Would you expand on that? Thank you.

          Hi Spok,

I never said he had "emotional issues"

I did mention that I had concerns that he can managed the emotions associated with trading larger accounts, however we are installing a maximum drawdown EA onto his account to control the risk which makes me much less nervous.

I've also spoken to him at great length about this and I feel comfortable that he is able to step up to the plate. Otherwise I wouldn't be risking my funds trading with him.

His old account was a tiny live account he was trading with FXCM for a bit of fun. At the time of closing it I think he was up around 400% + (from memory)

I'm very suspicious about trading with fresh bank recommendations.
In general they are buying when they recommend sell and they are selling when they recommend to buy.

                Hello,

I noticed TA's myfxbook that he has greatly decreased the risk (At least compared to when the account was first started). It says the DD is max ~26% but this seems to have occurred when the account first started. What exactly is the max DD that could be expected while running this system?

                Thanks,
                David

                  Nick,
How much trader reduced risk ?
It seems is trading 0.02 lots for every $1.000.

I will be running an EA and also calculating the stops on open position to never go more than 10%, that's the aim. If i break this rule i will be in a strong conviction trade and will make a post here explaining my trade Idea and give traders a choice to manually close.

I have to say I'm impressed with the way you handled NFP yesterday TradeAlerter.

When you placed buy orders on USDJPY in the middle of the craziness I confess I was a little nervous there for a while. Originally it looked a little impulsive. But after chatting with you and knowing you had a specific plan in mind I was happy to let it run.

I've woken up this morning to see that I'm now 237 pips ahead on that trade!

                        Great work, keep it up!

                            TradeAlerter,

I was just wondering what you are thinking with the current AUDJPY trade?

There is no stop on the trade and we're currently at 11.5% drawdown.

My account is still well ahead even with the current drawdown so I'm not stressed, but I'd like to know what your thoughts are with this position.

                            Regards

                            Nick

Hey Nick i am watching the USD/JPY market closely and the AUD/USD and hence the AUD/JPY. The levels are extremely attractive longer term for the buyers but the volatility and fear is palpable. Y90 was tested on AUD/JPY last night and the market found support but it could easily move to Y88.50 and Y87.

As for my current position and hedging on rallies i am trying to be very careful adding a hedge or buying a second position

I will also be looking for other trading opportunities like long UJ etc short AUD etc but will not be having any more trades without stops.
