  • Daytrading Sentiment Strategy

    Hey Crew,

Just to keep the community updated and to see if there is an interest to what I am working on I would like to present to you all my results from demo to live testing for my new strategy. Since July I have been testing a strategy I like to call it the "London Daybreak strategy", this is because it targets the European session with a tight stop lose (25 pips max) while trying to capture the breakouts this session produces. I use several indicators and news sources to conduct my trading which is all done manually. I usually hold positions for around 10 hours, since I enter trades during the Asian Session when the market is quiet and hold them until the USA started for the day. This allows me to gain accurate trade entries and safe exits as I have found hold positions into the American session often sees a price action reversal. I will attach link so you can see both my 4 months of demo testing and my 1 month of live testing as well as the signal service I am making available on MQL5. In a few months time I will be a service provider for autotrade on myfxbook, and if there is real interest I will look to starting my own fund which may seem like a long way away, but if forex has taught me anything it is to dream big.

Does anyone want me to put this on signal start or does MQL5 work?

It obviously didn't work for you. Your Myfxbook hasn't updated since Nov 24 and your MQL5 signal is now disabled so I can only assume your account was closed in a loss. Not surprising since you did not stick to your so called tight stop loss "25 pips max" - how about the 99 pip loss and numerous losses >50 pips.
