Now i use only Viper x3, but later will use Viper x2+Trusted x2+TradeAlerter x0.5-x1+Amplified x0.5-x1.
    I think it's good mix.

I'm currently only running two signals from forexsignals.com:

    Viper at risk 1.0
    Smart scalper at risk 0.5

On top of that I run a number of futures strategies and one options strategy ... my target is 0.5 % a week but of course I take anything I can get

    Just trying to help.
It would matter because if the others are grid or martingale or same style trading same pairs then you may get a margin call if 3 of them hit drawdown at same time.
Imo having Smart on the account with 0.25 will be no problem unless your other signals are risky.

I haven't completely decided on which 4 yet. But if each is being traded at only 0.25 risk, why would it matter? If I have a $20,000 account, trading 4 signals at 0.25 risk each, that's the equivalent of having four $5000 accounts trading one signal each.

I agree it *would* matter if I were trading them at say 1 x risk each on the same account. If there were strongly correlated signals in the mix, that would certainly increase the risk of large drawdowns.

What are the 4 signals? That will determine the answer.

    Hi Nick,

Back in November you said "The signals to keep on an individual account are Smart Trader, Ping's EA and Pendulum. Everyone else works well together."

Can you elaborate on why Smart Trader should be kept on an individual account? I was planning on trading 4 signals (including Smart Trader) on one account, each with a risk setting of 0.25. That should be fine from a risk perspective, shouldn't it?

    Thanks ...

Every trader on the site trades a fairly different strategy, so the chance of correlated drawdown from having 2 signals on one account is pretty slim.

My preference for is to always to run a separate account for each signal, it's the safest way to do it and makes it easier to track performance.

haha yeah Eric i did have a few.

down to just 3 now and one account.

SFSgrid vault margin called - well the master account did,

i counter traded and got out with a 9% profit for the year, was sad to see gbpusd retrace so far as i would of exited with 103% of equity if i held in..but too many times ive been burnt in the past where ive removed the hedge at profit, the market has then been kind enough to retrace just enough to get out, and i dont take it, it then never returns, its safe to say this time when i saw i was just above BE erasing 25% of gains at that point i took my capital and RUN. considering when saving my account i had 0.72 in loosing sell positions and i hedge/counter traded 1.2 lots i only stepped in when my equity dropped to $36 remaining before MC, this is on a $1230 account, to say i got out is a mircale,

i have now asked for a withdrawal and will invest that into my main ic market account

was a fun few days thurs/friday, an then staying up all night sunday into monday in "trying to rescue" my account mode,

All in all im happy to be out, an im finished gambling with the blooming martingale strategy's no matter how "hybrid" they are

Joined the site around october i think,

found this site via silent specialist, we all know the story there...

i then tried Forex junkie just before his big DD, as i was already licking my wounds i couldn't face more immediate risk of big losses so sadly forex junkie got the boot and i manually closed trades,

At this point in time i have one IC Markets ECN with the following,
    Smart Scalper - 1x risk - nov 13
    Fx Viper - 4x risk - nov 13
    TA - 1 x risk - nov 13
    Ambush trader 1 x risk - jan 14

i have a 2nd ic markets ecn that has

    reborn @ 0.2 lot multiplier, (2 x risk) - dec 13
    high return 1 x risk - dec 13

i have a 3rd ic market account but this one is not ECN
turtle forex high risk - 1 x risk nov or dec? 13

i have an ibfx mini account
SFS Power Grid 0.5 risk - dec 13
    Smart trader 1 x risk - jan 14 (lot multiplier of 1)

all my accounts bar the ibfx account are minus growth at the moment , i hoping 2014 turns this around, i am still in a testing phase so i am watching closely until feb. ive burnt maybe a $2000 hole in a 6k ish bucket this attempt at following signals, and mostly due to be over leveraged/too high risk . Im learning, my account sizes have now doubled and risk halved.

its good watching the accounts as i like to learn

    Thought id share

    [edit added the start dates]

Roger I have been running them for a month and am pleased with the approach - win ratio is low but they are in profit over the last 30 days on my account. You are right about the cost though, so I have set up a $5k MAMM FXCM account with them rather than a subscription, that will get the same signals on a performance fee which suits me better.

    Cheers

I think they can keep it up to be honest. Trading against the retail traders certainly does seem to be profitable! Haha

Reborns regular signal doesn't do it for me. I think most of his money was made in the first couple of weeks and has been pretty flat after that (from what I remember I'm not at my computer right now)
The high return signal is good but like I mentioned above, getting good entries is a little difficult for me. Are you getting slipped much on it? Most of my other signals I'm getting overall positive slippage, it's just this one!
