  • WallStreet EA Is Close To Blowing Up After 5 Years - What Happened?

    Hey guys,

Wall Street EA was the last profitable EA from the golden age of EA's (2008 > 2013) and by far the longest running with their showcase account going back 5+ years.

I was alerted today that it's close to margin calling.

It's the most viewed page on Myfxbook and the most followed system, so I'm keen to hear from anyone who's been trading it to understand what went wrong.

I have my own theories, but I'd like to hear from you guys.

Not the best idea to trade an EA on GBP at the moment. It's not going to know fundamentals regarding the referendum .

Looks like they have put manual partial hedge to save the account.

Using a hedge when it's never been a feature of the strategy previously is a recipe for disaster.

My prediction - They'll try to unwind the hedge and gradually dwindle the account down to a point of no return, once that happens they'll make a one way directional bet and cross all their fingers and toes that the forex gods save them.
