  • Existing IC Markets MAM or Think Huge Investments - What's the difference?

Please let me clarify the difference between the these two for anyone wanting to join an FX Viper managed account.

The difference from a clients perspective:

    Existing IC Markets MAM
    - IC Markets charge brokerage of $5USD per lot
    - The company responsible for this MAM is unregulated and registered in HK
    - Australian citizens are unable to participate
    - Accounts are denominated in USD
    - Minimum investment $2,000
    - Account offered with 3x risk profiles

Trading with Think Huge Investments Pty Ltd
    - AxiTrader charge brokerage of $3.75AUD per lot
    - The company responsible for this MAM is registered and regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission to offer managed discretionary accounts to retail investors.
    - Australian citizens are accepted as well as a large proportion of the worlds population (excluding US)
    - Minimum investment $10,000AUD
    - Accounts are denominated in AUD, USD or GBP
    - Risk setting is fixed at 2x
    - The application process is more detailed to ensure that clients are aware of the risks involved in participating
    - Telephone support is offered to new and existing clients
    - 40% maximum equity loss protected by automatic safeguards

Outside these points everything else is more or less identical between the accounts.

Think Huge Investments was created to offer our traders under a regulated structure with the aim of attracting larger investment allocations from clients. In our experience it's unlikely that an investor would allocate $500k+ to a HK company without regulation or a phone number. This now solves that problem as we to grow the business as a whole into a more institutional model.

Currently only for AxiTrader (within next 3 months) - but at some point the the future we will also have to increase initial deposit for FX Viper MAM @ IC Markets as account grows.

I believe you mean VPS ( like https://www.forexvps.net/ ) - so the answer is: no, no need for VPS - MAM is fully hosted on FX Viper side.

That is one of the main advantages of MAM - client doesn't need to do anything besides transferring funds to the account.
