I have to learn to have more faith in you.

Well done and congratulations on such a great effort. I wish I had more faith.
Perhaps run at 0.5 or 0.75 risk until faith grows?

        • Hey Guys, i have taken the manual trade GBPUSD short with a strict SL. we are risking just 40 pips and aiming for a lot of pips. Risk reward on this trade will be very good.

          • Hello Vijay,

I note that the current open trades also have SL set.
Is this a change in strategy, or are these also manually initiated trades?

            Thank you.

            • They are manually initiated trades. There is risk with EUR trades so i want to have a Strict SL.

              • Hi Vijay. Could you please let us know the thinking of current trades. It's different to normal and we are both long and short on AUD and EUR. So I don't understand it. AUDCAD seems to be losing more than EURAUD cos it's bigger, and now we are long EU just now even though tonight is FOMC. So I just don't really understand the risk involved.

Hey BRM, they are all manual trades, all have Strict SL and TP set. so we will lose only what we are risking. I took short EURAUD earlier, as AUD is stronger at the moment and EUR is still continuing the bearish momentum, at least against AUD. i have taken EURUSD long, before FOMC and GDP figures. There is some expectation that GDP gonna be around 0.5%, much below the expected figure of 1%, so USD gonna be weak. As you see already, USD strength gone down a lot across all the pairs.

On CADCHF, CAD is strong at the moment and the recent SNB comments on CHF, provided me the reasons to take up that trade.

                  Hope everything is clear.

                  • Hi ST,

I'm posting on this forum very seldom, and usually just to thank or praise the trader for the good results. Havent posted anything here for some time because I didnt like what i saw lately and frankly from an investor point of view, who joined on Jan'15, the situation sucks. not only that the subsciption doesnt pay off but we also have 3 consecutive mo. on big neggative %. Dont want to sound dissrespectfull, but have u thought offering ppl in my situation free months of subs, at least till u reach new equity high?

I feel your pain; something about a monthly subscription irks me. It's why I went VIP and MAM.

But it doesn't work like the way you describe. Vijay brings the skill. We bring the capital, pay our dues and take our chances. Or we don't.

It's a bit like you're asking the casino to refund your coin if the pokie doesn't pay out (except with a casino the house always wins).

Jan 2015 was a black swan event, but I am very impressed with how Vijay handled it. It comes with the territory. IMO it boils down to finding a way to reduce the perceived risk down to what you can sleep at night with, and then hoping and watching and checking that the actual risk matches your perceived risk.

Good luck. I know I am comfy with Vijay (and Viper)

                          • Hello Vijay, I am wondering are scalper and trader correlated with each other? I mean if I subscribe to both the risk will be greater because two signals use same metods? (I know the basics of risk management). Happy weekend. I am very happy how this CHF situation solved. I feel ashamed that I didn't put faith in You. Best regards.

                                Hello Marcus,

Maybe this will be of interest to you. Let Vijay manage the correlation risk.
