    His system was not bad...
Even if SL can happen, it can recover.
But the problem is the trader, he is weak does not respect his own rules.
Then, trust is broken, goodbye, kid. FX is not for pussies.

    He's a nice guy but Account deleted - https://www.myfxbook.com/members/tog...primus/1604934

I talked to this guy on myfxbook recently about what system he is most proud of and he sends me this link - https://www.myfxbook.com/members/tog...4-real/1828615 - The system is aggressive grid with about 5 pip order spacing. Easy to say that the system is private and probably didn't work out for him.

Then I asked about how to follow is cTrader strategy - http://www.myfxbook.com/members/togr...rstone/1754579 - Well I am glad that I didn't . He mentioned it was manual trading with martingale. It is odd that his 2nd account still survived - http://www.myfxbook.com/members/togr...ersway/1754580 - And it goes to say martingale can be profitable with extreme risk and drawdown - http://www.myfxbook.com/members/togr...lfxpro/1563783

His Pipster Signal is likely his old Caesar Signal with new name by looking at his recent 30% stopout. I am glad he respected the drawdown limit this time. - http://www.myfxbook.com/members/togr/pipster/1514491

If you follow him make sure you put the Equity protection in your own hands

And it blew just because vendor/trader does not respect its rules. He could just cut in loss and profit again, but no, too greedy, he started not respecting max DD then do some manual...

I was with this signal back in 2014, He hit MAX DD x 2 of I think 40% DD at the time within a period of 2 weeks. +(Lost Subscription fees)

I notice the MaxDD hit x2 and the subsequent break that he had as he withdrew the signal at the time for a couple of months aren't showing in the Myfxbook, maybe he had another account running at the same time.

It looked like a promising signal, however there was no other part to the strategy other then , Enter the trade and add more trades. Looking for result of either Profit or Max DD.

50% DD. Signal provider does not respect the stated rules : 25% max DD.

I don't like this, trade plan not respected. Who can say he is totally relaxed when big DD? Vendor is stressed for sure. Then he intervenes and messes it up. Not the first time. So please vendor have a clear plan, whatever it is, and respect it.
Again, vendor, whereas he says he never intervenes, closed some trades in loss, probably due to FOMC.
Maybe good, maybe bad, but then please don't say this is automatic trading, not based on feelings.

Still, overall accounts are positive if you started months ago. But on last months, winnings do not offset loosers, so beware to the Risk Reward....

From one trader to another I think the EA was fabulous and I have no interest in kicking the guy now. I've been around simpletrader for more than two years and Caesar has seen a lot of "hot" traders come and go. Perhaps he'll be back and better for the lessons learnt. Hail!

Yea the system has a weird way of opening trades. At a moment I had like 40 trades open I think.

Luckely I had him running on 0.5x.

its a dumb grid, advice is to withdraw regularly and keep your investment low to protect your initial deposit

and i mean dumb in the sense no manual intervention unlike another couple grids i know

Full SL hit today on 2 of 3 account type for Caesar
At least vendor respects the SL...
Overall : usually Caesar makes pips and money but almost all the time these SL erase all gains....

    Vontogr,
The problem is. Or you intervene always (and before each news then you may intervene then... so every day or so!), or never.
    It is not clear.
Anyway some Caesar are now 17% DD... so let's hope some down for your systems.

FXStreet (Edinburgh) - According to FX Strategist at OCBC Bank Emmanuel Ng, the pair could see the 1.0380 level tested following today’s ECB gathering.

    Guys,

I did intervene. It was not necessary. The market moved a lot in RIGHT direction. We lost the just profit we have earned yesterday and this week is still profitable. So the loss is really small.
Now imagine what would happen if market moved the opposite way...
