I plan to recover and to be in profit by the end of the month.
For this, I trade now, with a maxim risk of 5%.

    Hi BsB,

Do you know why your signal is no longer in the signals listing page?
    i.e. https://www.simpletrader.net/forex-signals.html

Is was there up to a few days ago.

Also, we never hear from you. An update once a week would be good.

    Thanks,
    Timo

Wow that was a pretty deep spike down, but impressive support under 138.00

Looks range bound to me, but I sure would like a spike upwards .... The news shortly might give it some more direction ...

Thanks Flow. I'm comfortable with BSB's style and history also, and quite like signal.

I just think I might have misinterpreted his rules slightly, regarding the total positions, and how they add up to max DD. So thought I'd check with BSB so I could adjust my risk if necessary.

The max floating loss touched 25% on the master, and the equivalent on my account with that single EURJPY trade.
I'm running at the equivalent of 0.33 risk (taking into consideration of exchange rate etC), so it went to ~8% DD for me.

I haven't touched it, and don't plan too either. I liked his past performance, and overall strategy, so I'm happy to leave it in his hands.

Of course I'd prefer to see more frequent, smaller trades, like he did the last few months, but If it means holding on for a week or two more to avoid a 25% loss then thats fine by me.

I see no reason to unsubscribe. I'll be staying on for the time being ...

BsB - it would be nice to hear from you ... we know you don't like chatting in the forums during the trading week, but if you have time on the weekends during market close please feel free to drop by and say hello.

Good question timo - good trading (for a while?) BSB - so what happened here?

    1) Trade duration?

There is an open EURJPY trade of now 14 days.

The trade history of 45 trades shows a maximum duration of 2 days.

BSB - according to your back testing and the rules of your system, what are the stats on longer trades? (For example - "3% of trades may be held 5 to 14 days?")

Or it begs the question - has 'quick and disciplined' turned into 'hold and pray'?

    2) Trading rules break?

"I take 3-7% risk per trade, and close the trades on loss 10-15%."

There is a take profit on the open EURJPY of 19 pips, but no stop loss - maximum drawdown so far seems 137p.

BSB / subs - can you confirm what was the maximum drawdown percentage on the open EURJPY trade the master account? (Did it go to past 15%, or past 25%?)

    3) Trader ignoring subs?

There have been 3 trades this months compared to an average of about 13 per month.

BSB - are you okay? Injured? Or orphaned a trade / account unless it comes back into a small profit?

timo asked a fair question, and since you didn't answer, we gotta talk about you like you ain't here...

    4) Subs ignoring trader?

A big single trade drawdown eventually turned into a small drawdown now growing again, but trader looks like he'll take a small profit or ride out a long big drawdown, not a small loss.

Subs - guys are you managing this trade yourself / unsubscribing?

Overall I am comfortable with my strategy and outcome here.

I am mainly curious what happened to BSB and y'all.
