Any updates/thoughts on this system? The monthly profit is definitely impressive. I'm interested in testing it out, but I can't help but notice that open drawdown. Did you ever take this system live?

40% open drawdown with about 10% monthly gains . And 120 open positions - http://www.signalstart.com/analysis/chronicity/11628 . If I followed this system I'd run it for 1 year and not check the account. Watching on a daily weekly or even monthly basis could drive one mad.

its a wicked system, tiny lots grid style. seems h4 traded to me. wish ali would be more communicative.
So we are now at 70% drawdown and still adding. The trader says he is still confident in the trades but I feel it's just words (hopefully I'm wrong).
There are greater forces at play here.... this is a political thing now rather than fundamental with the US dollar.
If this goes to shit I'm down $40,000 and that will be it for me after 5 years on this site.... $1000's of dollars in sub fees and about $50k out of pocket.

Seems like a fools game.
all grids typically end badly, but this one i had hopes myself meaning if ali would have respected a certain dd level to close out and start fresh.
fx is not a fools game trust me on that one, there is good providers to be found. look up my thread impulse and read what to look for in a provider and you will be set.
unfortunately my signal is offline but you will get good information at least.
Did others lose most their money overnight following Chronicity? I think I must have hit 50% margin, and IC Markets automatically closed the trades. Because on Chronicity's page, all his 148 trades are still open.
I agree with reinerh and I feel for sloozefx with a sick feeling in my stomach. That empty sick nauseous feeling.
I can only say, sloozefx , that not all systems are doomed to inevitable failure. Just gotta analyze how a trader handles drawdown and closing trades according to a pre-determined level.
Grid system and trader not willing to HONOR a set stop loss level, neither soft or hard stop loss level, on individual trades or total exposure.
All losing trades held to artificially inflate good statistics on top line, but hiding corrupt rot poor trades that continue to steal equity.
Out of 129 open trades, I counted 127 negative positions.
Trader just closed all positive trades.
This is the death rattle. Trader pulling out. No way to recover from this level of drawdown.
If you drill down beneath the surface you could have analysed this from the trading strategy beforehand.
There were excellent gains for a year, but hopefully you Subscribers and Followers took profits off the table when times were good.
Because now this Fund/Equity is about to go bust. The equity curve was sick all along the way.
For a healthier way to trade, compare Chronicity's equity curve to the one for Outside the Box. And you will see a glaring difference.
Length of trades.
Number of positions kept open at any one time.
I took some losses as well, decided to detach my account and trade out the rest by myself. This man has really no idea what's he's doing, all the trades are randomly open, moreover he often trade some strange and dangerous pair which I even didn't know the existence. This is a very good signal if you can trade the opposite.
Stay away he will blow your accounts.

Forex Trading analysis and performance of Chronicity by Forex Trader ali66sh
dd was very high no question, but as with any high return signal one has to get ready for high dd or wipe out as well.
I followed him for months, I can assure you that his entries are totally randon and ALWAYS wrong, moreover he's keeping the lotsize at 0.02 while the balance is growing then the risk (on his account) is slowly diminishing. Anyway, you will never able to withdraw anything with that DD.

dum-dee-dum-dum .... chronos time is up.
And still no response. Blocking included. I will not apologise for trying to warn people on this platform and on myfxbook.

he gotten over his head, always traded .01 in counter grid fashion on h4 timeframe i believe. but recent trade sizes were are huge, i sense desperation.
could not accept a reasonable loss, don think it will be alive much longer.

This guy had a good run but it came to an end as predicted. When will people realise that these kinds of strategies are just not sustainable? Its simply not possible...
