I suspect it was because there were many active orders and the SimpleTrader EA kept trying to synchronise all of them over a period of time. Perhaps there was also misquotes and other error messages when the volatility was high, etc.

Anyway, to avoid future problems, I have decided to ask people to subscribe through Signal Start and MQL5 from now on. (MQL5 signal will be available from next week)

    • Jimmy that is a shame I do prefer Simpletrader. Good luck with it though.

If you really prefer to subscribe through SimpleTrader I can still give you a private link, but you need to understand that I will not be responsible if your account gets disabled by the broker due to "hyperactivity".

The weekly summary is ready for those who are interested in reading it :

          • Hey Jimmy, it's been a while but I'm surprised of the above news. I never saw this combo account before? Where did that come from?
The only account I remember seeing is this one: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/jim...ccount/1688652

P.S.: I registered on the SFE forum as coldvinc

I just can't help but feel I need to start using SFE XD

                • The reason why the accounts are being flagged is due to the MT4/5 flagging the accounts due to excessive modifications. Everytime an EA queries the MT4 server, this causes latency on the broker servers which an EA with overwhelming communications could amount to a minor DDOS attack causing the brokers server to lose performance. Every broker has their limits and usually are about the same. Even if you find a broker that will work, this will only be for a brief period of time as Meta or their tech advisors will inform them to cut you at the expense of their other clients. I hope this explains it. You will do alot of broker moving and has nothing to do with ST as their EA only queries the broker server when making, updating or deleting an order.

                  • I have never encountered the "hyperactivity" problem with IC Markets all this time I have been running all the SFE EAs on my own account, so I can only assume it was caused by the SimpleTrader EA on the subscriber's account, unless that subscriber also runs other EAs which may be causing the issue.

So far I haven't had issues with followers on other platforms receiving the same warning about "hyperactivity", so I guess I will just see how it goes from here.

Congrats dude. I figured this system was dead, then volatility came back to the markets and you are at new equity highs.

Yes the main strength of the SFE EAs is that they keep the drawdowns manageable even when the market is not favourable, and they can also make large profits in a short period when the market becomes favourable again.
