  • How DD is calculated in simpletrader website ?

    Hi everybody,

I have found a strange thing in this signal:
FX Blue is a leading provider of apps and services for forex traders. FX Blue offers analysis of trading results, apps such as trade copiers and trade simulators, plus charts and alogrithmic news feeds.

DD in simpletrader website is just 8.25% but then if you check the myfxbook DD is 61.18%

is this maybe an error in myfxbook? or the DD is calculated different in simpletrader?

If the SimpleTrader ea was not connected to the account during the dd, it will calculate the dd of past using the day open and close, so the dd might was intraday only that is why it wasn't calculated correctly

This scares me a lot because it means real DD can be counterfeit.

Yes it is, same thing for myfxbook ea by the way
The trader of this account if he deleted the account and re-edit again, the 60% dd will be gone
But seems he is still a newbie to figure that out
        Unlike fmam for example
