  • Detection of cent accounts

    Hi ST team

Is there a possible way for the signal provider ea to detect if the account is real $ or cent account and state that by default on the signal page?

I consider it is cheating from the signal provider to show us a 100k account and make us feel comfortable cause we think that he is trading using that nice amount of his own cash then discover later by luck that it is a cent account and he only have 1k at risk

    Is it possible?

Hey - we did look into this when we developed it, but there wasn't anything at the time that allowed us to detect a cent account with 100% conviction.

Then are you able to make it compulsory that the Signal Provider to clearly state if they are cent account?

The problem is the requirements to be a signal provider on simpletrader is $3000 but cent accounts are listed.
