  • AFX - Consistent and Steady Signal.

Our strategy is now live folks. The system has been trialed and back tested over a four year period with varying market conditions and during extremely volatile trading sessions.

The trading itself is mixed with manual trading and trade triggers which we use to assist us with our entries and exits. We mainly trade the majors including the EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD and on occasion GBPCHF. No martingale, grid or hedging is permitted in our trading. Backed by two traders with over 35 years combined trading experience, where we believe two heads are better than one.

Consistency and risk management is a must and capital preservation comes first. There are always more opportunities to profit from the markets.

Our trading is able to follow at the link below with a free trial period available.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

    All the best!

Hi Cameron, interesting results so far. As the track record is currently quite short, could you provide more information about your trading strategy?
BTW the link to myfxbook on your simpletrader profile doesn't work.

      Hello Stingr,

Our trading strategy is an intraday one based upon fundamentals and technical analysis. We generally stay away from trading into high impact news events and avoid carrying positions over weekends as much as possible.

We include trade triggers in our trading which assist us with entries and exits and are generally highly accurate however we will not rely solely one these to carry out trades. The base trigger along with manual intervention can gain anywhere of between 2-20 pips and goes off frequently. The secondary trigger can assist us to gain anywhere between 20-150 pips and goes off less frequently.

      A bit about us;

We both have institutional level experience with leading investment management firms and after years of working from an office we decided to provide a solution to suit your average retail investor to help them be successfully profitable long term from FX.
Capital preservation is vital in this game and we strive to maintain a personal approach with all subscribers and we fully thank you for your support thus far.
In Forex and the majority of other financial markets that are available out there to trade it is a necessity that emotionless trading is carried out and it is where we have found most people tend to struggle. Most have the ability to trade well it is the greed or fear that prevents them from progressing as far as they could. We have managed hedge funds ranging in size and are fully aware of what is required to be successful long term. With us not only do you get two traders backing your portfolio to do well we are also CFA certified with myself being CFA and CAIA certified.

      Best wishes,
      Cameron

Caution:Trading involves the possibility of financial loss. Only trade with money that you are prepared to lose, you must recognize that for factors outside your control you may lose all of the money in your trading account. Many forex brokers also hold you liable for losses that exceed your trading capital. So you may stand to lose more money than is in your account.

          Hi AFX,

I noticed that youve deposited and withdrawn several times on your account. Unfortunately this throws out the statistics completely as you had a 99% return in the first month and a 34% DD at some stage.
Since your myfxbook like is a little unreliable in terms of expected return and DD can you explain what you expect these figures to be? Do you have a max risk per trade or max DD where you close all positions?

Thank you for your input pearcey2.

We have not deposited or withdrawn in a while as the balance is now set at what it is. The reasons for depositing before was to increase the balance gradually. The return of near 99% was on the intial deposit regardless and we have never encountered a drawdown of 34%.
Yes we have a SL set for all trades and risk 1% per trade generally.

            Thanks,
            Cameron

The master account should be available once you click "master account" via simple trader. It will likely come up with an "error page" and the link on that page. The reason being is to show that it is our account the myfxbook link is from as it states on the page it is from our account.

Today we received a reduced risk loss on our AUDUSD short trade. However due to the reduced risk in that trade, we overall recorded a successful day in terms of profit overall.

Please make sure that your risk management is in place folks. We recommend using a risk multiplier setting of no more than 2x.

Hello Cameron, just curious does AFX stand for "AdjustedFX" I saw that signal on a couple of sites like myfxbook and signal start with a name Mark Docherty from the UK? Are you affiliated in any way? Just trying to do some due diligence before I subscribe hope you understand.

                      Hello Nick,

Thank you for your interest in our trading.

You are quite correct AdjustedFX is the name of our business however the signal you mentioned is a completely different signal from AFX.

The latter is one using a more conservative approach while AdjustedFX is a more aggressive signal.

                        Hi Cameron,
You mentioned 1% SL per trade. One of current Eur/Usd shorts went close to 8-10% drawdown a couple days ago and didn't have SL.
Is it a special situation trade, what's the risk management here if it kept going higher? Would you bail-out at some level?
I'm not judging, just trying to understand risk profile and potential drawdown
                        Thank you,
                        Leon

What is the reason for this months lackluster performance as compared to the last two?

You must understand many signals providers come to ST with stellar previous records which they cannot replicate here.

                              Hi folks,

You are correct this was a special situation trade where we decided to alter the SL as we believed the market was widely oversold and the pair would reverse drastically which it has done so today. Goldman have stated just now that they still expect a US Interest Rate rise in Dec. with currently 13 out of 17 Fed members also agreeing at this stage. The US Dollar Index also rose 0.3% to 94.82 earlier in the day amid China GDP data coming in at a better than expected third-quarter rate.

This month has been a slow one thus far generally October is seen to carry lower volatility throughout the month. However at this stage we have still not encountered a losing month with a low drawdown in the process. And the two week free trial is still available should you wish to test us before subscribing.

                              Thank you for your support.
